Direct Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for creating and the executing the Technical, Regression and Functional testing suite.
The candidate should be self-motivated, proactive and a good team player. The candidate should have experience in work effectively in fast paced environments. Strong experience in Domain – Capital markets / Risk P&L) is preferred
Regression Testing:
• Develop Regression Testing Suite based on existing functional testing and automate the execution
• Execute regression testing to reduce the risk of defects/issues in the existing and new functionality rollout.
• Create regression defects and liaise with developers/business analysts to explain the defects and resolution
• Organize Regression Testing suite as per the functional specifications
Functional Testing
• Study and analyze business requirements and functional specifications documents to develop test scenarios (Domain – Capital markets / Risk P&L)
• Understands functional testing issues & problems and takes initiative to resolve
• Acquire knowledge in business domain and application workflow
Automation Testing:
• Create a automation script / maintenance and execution
Contributing Responsibilities
• Create test cases in HP-ALM / JIRA and test data as per the test plans
• Chairing the daily stand ups
• Chairing the meeting with onshore teams
